Fly/Drive – to Albury with Qantas, Virgin or Regional Express (1 hour from Sydney). Hire a car at the airport and drive 35 minutes to Beechworth/Stanley.
Private flights – there are airstrips for private aircraft in Albury and Wangaratta.
Train – to Wangaratta from Melbourne (3 hours). Hire a car and drive 35 mins to Beechworth/Stanley.
Drive from Melbourne via Hume Hwy. (3.5 hours door to door)
Turn off at third Wangaratta exit – brown sign marked Beechworth and follow the road to Beechworth. Turn right at the PO, head up the hill, take the Stanley turn off.
Drive from Sydney via Hume Hwy (6.5 hours). Take the Albury bypass, turn off at the Beechworth sign. Follow the signs to Beechworth (40kms). Turn left at the PO and follow instructions above to Planetrees.
Finding Planetrees – 819 Stanley Road, Stanley 3747 (also 4 Old Mill Lane)
For the main gate and Lodge – When you see the green Stanley township sign look for the first 40km speed sign. The main gate is immediately on your left. Planetrees sign is on the fence. Keep right to get to the Lodge.
If you reach the T-junction in Stanley you have gone too far!For the Arts Suite – look for the first 60km sign at the Junction of Old Mill Lane and turn left. First gate on the right with sign post for Planetrees. Park at the end of the building by the Suite.

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS
We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.

Some small, well-trained dogs weighing no more than 7kg can join you for your stay but only with the host’s prior written agreement. Planetrees’ host reserves the right to require dogs to be removed from the property if their size and behaviour are deemed inappropriate and no prior written approval has been given for their stay. There is also a charge for dogs attending the property. Please see Terms and conditions (link in footer).

Guests are unable to bring additional beds. You and any guests in your party should not sleep on the sofas.

Children are welcome but must be overseen by adults 25 years and older at all times. Children 14 and under at the pool must always be supervised by a responsible adult.

The garden and fenced natural swimming pool are shared by all at Planetrees. You can invite guests to join you during the day with your host’s prior approval. If visitors stay overnight you will be charged a pro-rata rate. The pool is reserved for paying guests. Small groups of visitors may join you only with the host’s prior agreement.
